Many of the people that attend the meetings and fundraisers in Winfield have heard me rant about old white people. I use the term old white people loosely to describe the majority of people that attend such meetings and to describe the majority of voters.
It is time for old white people to think beyond Social Security and the America that they lived in 50 years ago. Social Security is not going away in our life times, and the days of Ozzie and Harriet are not returning. We need to think of our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
We, old white people, need to be concerned about the dilution of public education system that is graduating students that can’t write, can’t spell, can’t figure their own income tax and don’t read.
