On Wednesday, Sept. 17, we need you to show up at the Ohio Statehouse for Fair Maps Day to send a loud and strong message to lawmakers to back down from making gerrymandered congressional maps in Ohio even worse.
We are gathering starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church across the street from the Statehouse at 125 E. Broad St. in Columbus on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. to come together.
We’re going to then go to the Statehouse for a day filled with speakers, actions and more.

We have had unconstitutional lines drawn for our 15 U.S. House seats in Ohio since 2022.
The Ohio Supreme Court ordered lawmakers to draw fair maps because politicians should not pick their voters. Voters should elect the leaders that represent them, but lawmakers thumbed their noses at the court.
It’s bad, but it’s about to get worse.
The unconstitutionalists, lawmakers who defied the court order, are coming back to Columbus to draw the lines again, and they are planning to make the maps even more gerrymandered.
This is no time to stand on the sidelines.
We Are Ohio is a citizen-driven, non-partisan, grass roots coalition that wants fair maps, fair elections and to let the best candidate win.
Sadly, our democratic system, our power of one person, one vote, has been undermined.

The people of Ohio voted twice overwhelmingly to demand fair maps, but we have politicians more interested in protecting themselves and their allies than in respecting the will of the people.
We need to let them know we will never stop fighting for fair maps, fair representation and fair elections where each vote matters and each vote counts.
